Bach Mass in B Minor
March 23rd 2024 7.30 p.m.
Chapel of St Augustine, Tonbridge School
Arguably the most magnificent choral work ever written, Bach’s Mass in B minor is a work that never fails to enthral audiences with its glorious complexity. The choir weaves lines of glittering harmonies, underpinned by control in the orchestra parts and adorned by the soloists’ wonderful arias and ensembles. For the TPS performance in March we shall be joined by four young people in the early stages of their careers – students from the Guildhall School of Music – who are undoubtedly names to watch for the future. Come and join us in the wonderful Chapel of St Augustine, Tonbridge School, and be reminded again or discover for the first time just why Bach is still held in such high regard after three hundred years.
