New members are welcome to join at the start of each term, in September, January and March. Times and venues change from time to time – check our current schedule via our Members’ page.

Alternatively, you can download and print the form below. Then you can either hand it in to the choral chair or the orchestral chair at rehearsals, or scan and send to the membership secretary at membersec@tonphil.org.uk.

If you are interested in joining the orchestra please contact the Orchestral Chair to arrange to come to one of our rehearsals.
We are particularly interested in hearing from good violins, and double basses.

Sing With Us
If you enjoy singing, are enthusiastic about making music, and are able to practice between rehearsals, come and try us out. We can provide various ways to learn the music. Though we are sure you will enjoy singing with us, you are welcome to come to a rehearsal as a free taster session. We are always happy to hear from prospective new members for our Tenor and Bass sections.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
MEMBERSHIP
Membership includes the cost of music hire and performing in the Society’s concerts for that season. The current subscription is £165, unless you are under 30, in which case it is £85. Membership is free for those under 21 and not in full time employment.
Renewal of subscriptions takes place by the end of September each year, and is usually made by bank transfer. Help may be available for those in difficult financial circumstances.
