You are warmly invited to come and sing in a Verdi Requiem Workshop hosted by TPS and the Royal Philharmonic Society.
This will be on Saturday, 14th May from 2.00 to 6.00 pm at The Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, Tonbridge,
Our conductor will be Naomi Butcher, who has been resident at Tonbridge Philharmonic Society since last September and has already led the choir and orchestra through three wonderful performances. The accompanist will be Jong-Gyung Park, whose stunning recent performance of Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto with TPS produced a standing ovation.
This event is produced in partnership with the Royal Philharmonic Society. RPS Chief Executive, James Murphy, will give a short talk on the story behind the music. The RPS have commissioned guest soprano Anna Patalong to join us for this event. There will also be a small film crew who will record the event to promote the work of the RPS.
The cost will be £20 per participant. This will include refreshments in the interval.
