RPS Film of the Verdi Requiem Workshop

Tonbridge Philharmonic is proud to be working with the Royal Philharmonic Society (RPS) to promote the revival of amateur music making post-pandemic.

The RPS and TPS hosted a Verdi Requiem Choral Workshop in May 2022. Guest soprano Anna Patalong joined us for this event. To our delight, Anna and her husband, Benedict Nelson, Baritone, agreed to perform the work with us in our Verdi Requiem concert on November 19th. RPS have included a section about the TPS workshop on their website here, including including a short film of the day.

The Royal Philharmonic Society is always delighted to welcome new members. Each RPS Membership subscription helps us in our mission to support, protect and celebrate classical music-making nationwide. With greater means, we can meet more groups like yourselves and help to raise their profile, shining a light on the vast constellation of non-professional groups making music up and down the country. What’s more, RPS Membership brings you closer to what’s happening in classical music, with a range of benefits to further your curiosity in the music you love. RPS Membership is a doorway to musical discovery, so do take a look on our website to find out more and consider joining today.
