Thanksgiving Service for John Cullen

We have now received details of the Thanksgiving Service for John Cullen, conductor and director of the Tonbridge Philharmonic Society from 1972 – 1993. There is a live stream option for anyone who cannot attend in person: the link is shown below.
Service: Saturday 22nd October at 2pm at St Mary Magdalene’s Parish Church, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, OX20 1UG
Getting there by car: The church can be found here. There is free parking in the town centre and in the Union Street Car Park.
Getting there by bus or train: The Oxford Tube is a regular bus service from London to Oxford, or there are regular trains to Oxford from London and many other parts of the UK. From the Oxford’s central bus station or train station take the Stagecoach bus no. 3A or no. 7 to Woodstock [destination Charlbury]. Royal Cars on 01865 777333 is a good Oxford taxi firm.
Reception: After the service there will be Afternoon Tea and drinks in The Bear Hotel, Woodstock until 5.30pm
Dress: as this is a celebration of John’s life, there is no need to wear black!
Mary: as you may know, Mary has significant memory difficulties. She will be delighted to see you, and may recognise your face but would love it if you greeted her saying who you are and how you know her.
