Tonbridge Philharmonic Society is delighted to announce that, in association with Tonbridge Round Table, we will be hosting our traditional Family Carols on Sunday 12 December at 4pm.
The event will take place once again in the wonderful Chapel of St. Augustine at Tonbridge School and promises to provide the perfect blend of Christmas carols and readings to help everyone begin to feel truly festive.
The Society has carried out a full risk assessment and will continue to monitor Government and NHS guidance and to put safety first for those attending.
All profits will be divided between two organisations that, more than ever, need our help in raising funds. This year we will be supporting FEAST (Families Eating and Sharing Together) a local food based project that offers healthy hot meals in school holidays and a fresh food community larder for families in need, together with Little Brainstrust, a charity that provides 24/7 support for children that suffer from brain tumours and their families.
As well as traditional Christmas carols for all to sing there will also be music performed by the choir of Tonbridge Philharmonic Society conducted by our new Music Director, Naomi Butcher; an organ solo from the Society’s talented organist, Chris Harris; carols performed by pupils of Woodlands Primary School and Christmas readings to be given, amongst others, by the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling and our MP Tom Tugendhat.
Drinks and mince pies will be on offer after the event in return for a small donation.
We strongly recommend that you don’t delay in buying your tickets here (£10 per adult, £5 5-18 year olds) as we are expecting this to be a sell out event! Tickets will be released in batches via our website in early November and can also be purchased from Wolfits petshop and Absolute Print in Tonbridge High Street.
