Choral weekly update 04.10.21

We had a really enjoyable rehearsal last Wednesday and I am sure that we will do so again this week, when we will be finishing work on the Parry, looking at the Gratias Agimus Tibi and Propter Magnam from Vivaldi’s Gloria. I have been reminded of the very good Cyberbass.com rehearsal website by a member.

We hope to look at one more piece for our concert too, a new work for most of us I think called Song of Mine Depart by Eugene Butler. Scores will be supplied.

As our warm up piece from European Sacred Music we will looking at O Jesu Christ mein Lebens Licht, by JS Bach. If you have not got the book here is a link. We will probably only do the first part.
