As part of the many local activities commemorating the end of the First World War, members of TPS worked with local pop-up organisation ‘Tonbridge Creates’ over the course of two Saturday craft workshops, to create a bouquet of paper poppies made by local children for display at the performance of Britten’s War Requiem. The white poppies were interspersed with fragments of Wilfred Owen’s poetry.
