Welcome

Welcome to Tonbridge Philharmonic Society

Formed in 1946, the Tonbridge Philharmonic Society is a vibrant part of musical life in the West Kent area.

Comprising of a friendly mixed voice choir and orchestra, the Society works hard to provide exceptional performances, under the professional baton of illustrious Music Director Matthew Willis who works with both amateur and professional musicians across the UK and Europe.

We perform up to five concerts each season, two are orchestral, plus a Charity Carol concert, in venues that include the stunning Tonbridge School Chapel and St Peter & St. Paul’s Parish Church, Tonbridge.

The Society welcomes new members to the choir and sections of the orchestra. For further details about joining us see our Join us page.

We are fully committed to the principles of equality of opportunity - for further details see our Equality Policy Statement.

We are fully committed to the safeguarding of children, young persons and vulnerable adults  - for further details see our Safeguarding Policy Statement.

The Society is a registered charity, the Charity Commission approved our revised  Constitution in 2016.

We hope you will come and listen to us this season, and for further details of our current concert programme do visit our Concerts page.
